Silva’s Life Steps is an outstanding total health program for helping you lose weight, change your lifestyle one step at a time and keep the weight off.

If you’ve tried diets and the mainstream weight loss programs, you are like 98% of my clients. They diet and they gain it back (plus more). What is the secret that we’re all looking for so we can get to our goal weight and then keep it off?

It’s lifestyle change, but how the heck do you do that when you love to eat? A coach is invaluable, and so is learning how the body gains and loses weight – calories. Calories in and calories out! As my client Terri sums it up: “Do the math to weight loss!”. And that’s what it’s all about. I teach you how the math works, and we problem-solve strategies for your individual lifestyle. You pick foods you want to eat – you don’t have to eat what the “diet” is telling you to eat.

Food is just like money $$$. You have a calorie budget, and if you go over budget you gain weight. Eat under-budget and you lose. I teach you what your budget is and how to manage it. Take the emotions out, and the “good food” -”bad food” mentality too. Translate food to a number and stick with the numbers.

That being said, we also focus on incorporating 3 healthy lifestyle behaviors into your life, so you can maintain your goal weight and live a long, healthy life to avoid diabetes, heart disease, cancer, etc. These are exercise, fruits and veggies, and 25% or less fat in what you’re eating most of the time. It sounds complicated but it’s really not. Not when you have a coach.

I work with stay-at-home Mom’s, executives that travel constantly, teachers, work-at-home professionals, office professionals, retired individuals, you name it. All different lifestyles to deal with, but they all get to the same place: they reach their weight loss goal and know how to keep it off, honoring their individual preferences and lifestyle challenges.
